Smile Qld Cobra Club Breakfast

I attended the club breakfast this morning. A big thanks to the guys and girls who all made me welcome and answered my questions, allowed me to drool over their cars and take some photos.

Great friendly group. I have now joined and the trip down to the breakfast along with a meeting with Warrick from Harrison has finally got me off the fence. will be ordering in the next week.

Once again, thanks.

Hi Col,

Great to meet you & have a chat at the Harrison Factory.

My mate who was with me was also very impressed with
the response he got from Warwick & the quality of the
Cobra that Warwick builds.

He will also be placing an order soon.

Good luck with your build.

Regards

Nick

Matt,

Jackie took a pretty good pic of your car at the breakfast.

Let me know your e-mail address and I'll send it on.

Col,

Welcome to the club. You will be very happy with the Harrison. I picked mine up last weekend and can't stop smiling.

Not only is the finish first class on the chassis , the body moulds are excellent. Very straight. And Warwick is a great bloke answering any question and giving advice freely.

regards

Mick...must get back to the shed...

So LORD 'riff raff' himself didn't show up to eat your breakfast?

And more importantly did PCC get a picture of Spooks 'HOT' female friend. I've seen his car but not this girl that Wazza keeps talking about!

Hodson,

I was very impressed by Warrick's setup and hospitality when I visited his factory a few years back. I'm sure you will really enjoy the building experience.

Blair, my email is matt@cfa-projects.com.au

As it turned out my girl took the early am beach walk option as she wasn't keen for ol "shifty eyes" to give her an undressing.. She has trouble with the the older "pensioner type"!

O I'm going to get roasted by the old man for that!

Funny though as we had an after breaky run and Wazza took us all right past my palce and she winked at him as he drove past! Not sure he acknowledged it though at his lovely wife was in his car.... he he

I'm really a dead man now!

My dear young Matthew,

Now you KNOW you're in trouble when I call you MATTHEW !

Are you nuts?....takin' the piss out of me....You know that will only end in tears.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the next 20 breakfast meetings you come to, where you will discover that I'll be devoting at least five minutes per brekfast to a "Rag the Spook " session.

You'll love it.

Fond Regards,

Old man Boylan.

Peter - I know how passionate Jackie is about photography. If she sees your "pretty good pic" appraisal of her work, you may well be the dead man!!!

Queensland breakfast is always on the first Sunday of every month, and always at Sanctuary Cove.
Had a good one last week, with around 130 attending and over 30 Cobras and GT40's
I won't be there next breakfast unfortunately,( Racing at Warwick in the A Series Sprints) but there are plenty of nice people there to make you feel welcome.

Hope you enjoy it,

Regards,

Warren ( Pres.)

Nah, you just turn up. Make yourself known to Warren(the president) and he will let everyone know your here for a visit.

We have breakfast at St Tropez cafe, starting around 7:30. People tend to roll up from 7am or a little earlier. All the Cobras & GT40s park in the laneway to the east of the cafe.

Be great to catch up.

Warwick Harrison isn't that far from sanctuary cove and he is always available Sat mornings for customers. Be worthwhile having a visit. I expect you will see a Daytona on a chassis. A certain regular here has ordered one and I'm certainly jealous.

Brett, just turn up, 7:30am, St.Tropez Cafe, The Village, Sanctuary cove.

About in the middle of the cafe will be the knobs table. That's where Prez Wazza sits with his groupies. . Make sure some-one at that table knows who you are so they can welcome you and introduce you to some folks.

The avenue will be lined with nothing but cobras, couple GT40's and maybe a Daytona so you wont miss the place.

Hope I can make it.

oops...beaten by Craig.
