My straps look similar to yours but I don't have a fuel leak. I'll take a picture when I get home for comparison. You mentioned you filled it up on your way home. I know you've had your car for a while so this may be a dumb question, but did you fill it all the way up? Did you top it off past the first click on the pump? The reason I ask is because I had this same problem when I first bought my Backdraft. I filled it all the way up past the ventilation holes on the filler neck and my garage stunk up with gas fumes.
