Hi mate,
I just emailed Bruce Martens about my application for the SA club which I still have not heard anything back about. With luck he will sort my membership one way or the other.
I dont suppose you have Bruce Allens email or mobile number mate?
Very excited to hear the SA club is pretty active. I am having some real problems with fitting the exhaust manifolds, so will be great to speak with some fellow DBR builders

If you are in the city that is ideal as the Sth Aust. Club are quite active and meet regularly.

Bruce Allen is a good contact over there. Bruce can steer you towards a number of Cobra builders who work on both a full time and part time basis to assist with builds - if you need that support.

I think there are a couple of DRB cars there also.

I am based in Geelong and have businesses in Victoria and Sth Australia. So we are often over in Adelaide.

I mentioned I am way to late May. So let me know how you go making contact etc.

Thanks for the warm welcome Bernie. Will get onto the SA club and see if I can't catch up with a few of them soon.
I have a business in the Adelaide hills, but live in the city.

Firstly let me welcome you to the forum and the great resource you have tapped into to assist in your build.

The DRB Cobras are a very good kit. Some background on them. DRB was based in Queensland and the early cars were built by Dennis R Bedson. The business was sold and the new owner Peter jokingingly once said DRB stood for Delibertly Race Breed.

They used a lot of Holden bits in their build.

My thoughts would be to make contact with the South Australian Cobra Club. They are on the Forum.

What part of a South Australia are you living?

I am in France at the moment and not back in Australia until late May. Make contact when I return and I will will link you up with South Australian members if you haven't contacted them.

Ive taken one over from my father and would really appreciate local assistance. Its a DRB kit - dont even know if it ranks as a good shell or not. If your able to help mate would be great.
