That's the Harwood scoop. You're right about the smallest one. Old scoop was cut out and this one was fiberglassed in. I think that scoop has been on the car about 13 years.

I just realized that I asked you about this before. As you can see I'm still thinking about it. I've gone on to other upgrades but I'm still facing this one. Sorry for the post. I really like it though. you can disregard this if you'd like.

Hotfingers, is that a Harwood mini hood scoop #3163, the one listed at 7" high. I would like more clearance both higher and wider and I'm just a little reluctant to make the move. It looks nice to me but im not a traditionalist and have moved to more a racer style cobra. I just could use some input and you have the only cobra with this style that I have seen.

LOU...Yes that was a Harwood scoop. Harwood 4163 - Harwood Fiberglass Bolt-On Aero Scoops - Overview - SummitRacing.com Here's the link for it at Summit. At 7 inches high, it was the smallest one that I found. I just needed a little extra clearance because of the high rise manifold. when you're in the car you really don't notice it, and it doesn't interfere with your vision. The old scoop was cut out, and this one bonded in, of course I had a body shop do it. A lot of people like the scoop, but most people are afraid to step out of the box and try it.

Jack, I like your hood. Is that a Harwood low scoop? How did you attach it to your hood. I'm looking for extra clearance for a different intake setup. I thought the Harwood scoop looked good but I was a little afraid to go through with the change. I could use a little encouragement. It looks racy and mean. Lou
