    Hello Leon,
I too have been off the site a little, I made a typo, the rears are 15 not 16.
We had a great trip to Cloudcroft, it was a blast.

David, Thanks for the reply and I'm sorry for not being more timely in my response. I just dont seem to moniter this sight as much as I used to. Hope your trip went well this summer and the car is still in tune. Talk to you later. Oh 16 inch rears? no clearance problems?

I would not say it helped that much, it was a lot of work, I went with carreara which is now QA1, talked with them and they helped me with the spring size and weight. They best thing I did was install front and rear sway bars, it really helped the way the car handled. I did have to weld top shock mounts, but was able to use the bottom shock mount.

No Leon, I changed mine to coilovers front and rear, originally mine had standard mustang coil springs, and if I jack it up they would dislocate, I also added limit straps to my rear end because I hit a bump once and the driveshaft tried to lock up because of the angle when fully extended. Hope that helps.

Hi Dave. Long time no speak. Yesterday I jacked up the rear end of my Cobra...the spring seperated fromt he axle. Is yours setup with no attachment? I jacked it up from the side frame rail. Leon

Dave, I just received the articles. Thank you so much for taking the time to do that. I couldn't wait to read them all. Very interesting stuff. I see that yours is a big block and they assembled a small block. My engine actually predated the article in that I am running a simple 4 barrel Holley with no electronics or fuel injection. I think I'm better off with the earlier unit. Anyway...thanks again. I will be sharing any of my finds with you as well. Leon
