Original Style Alternator

I’m not an expert on Cobra 427’s but I thought the alternator had changed to a bolt on fan/pulley by the time it was produced. No?

Original S/C and comp had three wire, these were concours (not concourse) cars

My understanding is that early 427's had the plug in unit and later cars had the stud type case with the nut retained pulley.

Warning: "Concours", not "Concourse" unless your car is sitting in the common area of a mall or such

Leaf spring cars original with alternators had a plug-in wire harness. Pulley was a large diameter press-on type. I don’t know if those carried over to the early coil spring cars or not.
BTW, I have the last DST press-on pulley. Still in the box, never installed. Purchased it from Tim Mason from old stock.😀
