Well, when I bought it, I knew there was a reasonable risk I was paying almost $1000 for a piece of wall art for the garage, but no. It looks good. I completely expect to need to sync the throttles and double check that the butterflys are properly staked, but they are all adjustable. I may wish to remake the center bellcrank and linkage out of aluminum when I finish my CNC router/mill, but that's more for appearance. The supplied steel one is tight, ridgid and symmetric so it will reliably open both banks in unison.

And no. All that this hardware does is restrict the air going into the engine. All that's critical is that all of the cylinders get the same air flow through their throttle bore and the manifold seals to the heads and block. The injectors and ECU handle the rest.

Too bad it'll be a few years before it's on a running engine.

No.... no significant performance improvement...you are just paying big bucks for a look...if I had a GT 40 I might consider it because the engine is always in sight....just my two cents..

I have an 8 stack on my 40 and i have to say there are few differences from a 4 barrel set up. Mostly is the noise, induction noise from an 8 stack is awesome. Also the motor feels far more responsive with the 8 stack.

I couldn't have a Ford V8 without either a EFI 8 Stack or Webers.
