    Dallas,

    Read an old post and saw you had some starter alignment issues with a Lakewood. I have a similar issue with the starter not engaging enough. What did you do to make yours engage? I have a Aluminum Shelby 427 / Lakewood / 184 tooth flywheel and cannot get any starter to effectively fit laterally to the flywheel. Any advice would be helpful

    ok, sounds good. I could not get my transmission in using the plastic tool. I have a TKO 600 input shaft that aligns the clutch much better if you want to try that.
