Hello, I am currently in the planning stages of my cobra replica build and am choosing my color. I have come across a picture of CSX4188 and am in love with the color. I have always wanted a blue cobra but I also want it to have a unique look. I have tried looking through many forums to see if I could find someone that have a similar color or know what color in on CSX4188. I found some post from you and I see that you own or have owned CSX4188. Would there be any way you could share the color information with me, if you have it?
Also, are the steering wheels in the CSX4000 cars 16" or 15"? I am trying to decide on which size to go with.
Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!

03-09-2020 03:38 AM - permalinkwww.70gt500.comThank you! I just spoke with Larry (or rather Larry spoke to me and I listened). The only challenge I have on CSX4322 is that the title isn't 1965. Makes it hard to bring here to London. Larry says his fiend can have it retitled? Hmm, not sure...
Funny thing is that you also owned 4188. I knew that car back in 2008. Back then it had the supercharger on it. I couldn't buy it then because it had a mistake on the title (CXS not CSX)
I see that 4188 is for sale in California. Did you find that car was well sorted and dialed in as well as 4322?
I'll try to ring you later on. Thanks for all your help! The guidance on the phantom - much appreciated. I'll see if Larry can really get a 65 title.
I am American, and keep a US phone here. I'm 603 714 5374 -
Hi, I'm sorry for the delay, we were traveling in a remote part of New Mexico and I wasn't hooked up to the internet.
The car is wonderful, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. The Phantom murals are tastefully done. The red one is way over the top, I bid on the car at Barrett Jackson and was glad it didn't come my way. I ended up with the bronze Kirkham. CSX4322 was a beast and very well built. Larry was good to deal with, also.
Call if you have any questions, 512-657-1989. Again, sorry for the delay with my reply. -
02-17-2020 05:59 PM - permalinkwww.70gt500.comI'm looking at CSX4322. I understand you used to own it? It's listed on Hemmings now. Can you share your experiences with the car? I don't seem to see the phantom cobra in the paint that the red one has - which is a good thing, because it looks a little black velvet painting like if you know what I mean. I just started talking with Larry in Indiana about it. Your 2 cents would be much appreciated.
