    Seems you are failing to listen to those with EXPERIENCE in this area. First up, your pictures show a gear that IS wearing significantly, since that is what ALL Bronze gears are designed for....

    Get a steel gear to match, other wise you will need to inspect the bronze gear every few thousand miles. High volume oil pumps, and high oil pressure reduce the gear life. Gary

    I think the op is talking about slop from the wheel to the diff output flange, which is axle cv joint or universal joint slop in this one output driveshaft, not diff internal backlash. Gary

    Sounds like the ignition switch has had too much current going it, and welded the contacts together. More relay usage required to get high current away from the switch. Gary
