Hey Fred what year and model of z3 did you use for the power steering rack?

Hello Fred, I'm thinking of having another BDR or Superformance. Not sure, but if I did, thinking about the Roush 427R or the SR. I see you have the R. For a weekend driver, is a R or SR preferred? Gus

Hi FredG. I heard from a member on this forum that you recently removed your Backdraft's dash to replace something. I need a photo of the wiper assembly behind the dash, please. Especially to see the rods and arms how they are orientated. Can you help? lomdel@mweb.co.za

If you don't mind, I might pick your brain on the set up down the road. The original owner of my car installed electric steering which is wonderful to drive but seriously affects the steering response. In order to install electric steering units, the column must be cut and shortened. I will be removing the dash over the winter to install a carbon fiber one so I will have full access to the unit. From there I will decide about removing it.

Yes. Regular drill bits and nice and sharp hole saws. Also, a lot of measuring and re-measuring.
