    Hi Warren
Hows that aircon going all fitted and working. Finally stripped the XR8 to a bare shell and winched it to the front yard for the scrap dealer.540 moved out of the shed, first time in the sun and on wheels.Washed the dust off and i found that it was white again.Picked up my aircon and overriders while down seeing peter at DRB.So now have to fit windows aircon and door handles.Peter is making me some fiberglass backing plates to bond too the inside of the door.Bloody great idea he had to fit the rear falcon handles LOL

hello Warren. it's jamie from wa. thanks heaps for your hospitality when we visited. Great to se all the work you have down on your 540. I did 3 x stupid things. Bought 2 x houses and have been renovating as fast as possible so I can finish them and work on the cobra. Also Broke my right hand at Easter and have only been able to use it in the last month or so. anyway got the extractors & cats & cat covers sandbasted and ceramically coated by cic in Kemscott. painted engine. sent front valley cover to be ceramically coated. made and fitted all the aluminium Panel heatshielding-wasn't easy 1 x handed. fitted brake booster & pedals. finally found someone to make me up a hydrolic Clutch cable. Only yesterday made up the brake & fuel lines. Today I ordered a performace oil pump& gears to fit while the motor is apart.

    Hi Peter,
It is good to hear that you are on your way home. Are you taking the Cobra to Canberra with you? There would be some nice drives towards the mountians in the warmer weather.
Helen and I will miss you at the September meeting as we will be in Perth at that time for a holiday. Don't forget Brekky is now on the last Sunday of the month at the Glen Hotel at Eight Mile Plains at 8.00am.
Enjoy the driving experince when you get your Cobra.
Send us your new address in Canberra. We are doing a bit of driving now(leased a car and have a target for klms each year) Canberra could be a destiation for a drive next year.

Hi Warren, How is everything? Have you got the SC540 going yet?

Joy and I are heading home for good, and arrive back mid September. Mid October I rejoin the Navy in Canberra for a year to update the pension and do a real job. Will make the September Brekky, probably with a car (Scott almost has it done................). !! See all you guys soon.
    Cheers
