Any gatherings at Monterey during Historic week?

So far haven't seen any listings for any planned gathering of Cobra/Shelby/Ford GT fans at Monterey.

Now the events last a full week starting the weekend before the Monterey Histoirc with the Pre Historics. Don't know if they charge for the pre-Historics but to me it wouldn't be the same unles sall the vendor booths are open and running as they are during the regular Historics.

There's at least three auctions, one of which has a genuine CSX Cobra rolling across the block

Concorso Italiano has moved to an airport a few miles up from their last venue at Ft. Ord

The Gathering at Quail is so snobby I don't think they will have any American-engined cars other than Isos and Bizzarrinis, and Monteverdis

The most logical place would be a section carved out of the Laguna Seca parking lot but unless a club pays in advance they don't get their own parking area.

Now found out Norcal region SAAC will have corral.
It doesn't have to be a Shelby but at least a Ford to park there.

I was hoping for a breakfast meeting sometime during Monterey but the logistics of getting to all the events work against that I guess.

Ideall it would be in Big Sur if there's anything left...

Hello Historybuff,

myself and my buddy were heading to Monterey for the races with our Cobras on Friday. Were staying in Pacific Grove but wanted to take our cars to the track but, park them in a area thats safe. Also would like to hang around other cobra people.
