My blinkers are not working. If you push up or down to the on position and shake it a bit the dash bulb sometimes lights. Before I tear into this... has anyone had this problem and found a fix?...

Went out to start the Cobra yesterday and I heard a “pop” and saw a small flame coming out from the hood scoop. I opened the hood and found a fire a bit too large to put out without an extinguisher....
