SUPERFORMANCE MK III S/C
A quick and reliable Cobra with all the good parts.
Not just a trailer queen, but completely at home on the street or at the track. Superformance fit and finish. Bulletproof and upgraded Keith Craft sb 427, Dart Iron Eagle block with all 4-bolt mains (602HP/599T). Tremec TKO-600rr 5-spd, Ram HP clutch, McLeod scattershield, custom 2 headers and sidepipes are ceramic coated. MSD AL-6 ignition, Accusump, oversized oil cooler and filter with -12 lines, vacuum pump and reservoir, 10# Halon fire suppression. Full IRS with Olthoff Hypercoil / Bilstein suspension and Wilwood Superlite brake upgrade, Kirkey aluminum seat, solenoid switched fuel pump with inertial shut-off, Racepak data system, Lexan MR-10 windshield with spare stock glass. Two sets of Trigo 5-pin knock-offs with street and track tires, extra set of track sidepipes, many spares. SPF #124 has original red/white paint with no damage or repairs, paint very good but not perfect. Extensive documentation, engine build data and dyno sheets available. Legally licensed in CA under SB 100 with permanent smog exemption.
I bought the car in '04 with 24K mi, a 351 crate and Tremec 3550. Repowered in '06 at 27K mi with the KC 427 and TKO-600. Now has just under 30K mi, reliable, strong, no issues. San Diego area.

Hey, thanks Dean. Nice to hear from you BTW! I'm just not driving it since I got into the vintage Formula Ford racing. Went to Willow a couple weeks ago, still a blast... but I need to pick one car and might as well cut to the chase. If I can't get a clean deal at a decent price, I'll continue to enjoy the car...

Thanks for the response, Cary. But Iīm not interested in a trade unless it is a recent Swift or Van Dieman Formula Continental or Formula Ford. I got into racing Formula Ford and thatīs the reason I decided to sell the Cobra...

RIGHT ON...BOY DOES THAT SOUND FUN...YA BUDDY JOBE, WHO USED TO OWN PIR RACEWAY IN AZ IS A FRIEND OF MINE..HE WAS ALWAYS TRYING TO GET ME OUT ON THE TRACK..I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN HIM UP ON HIS OFFER..IF I RUN ACROSS ANY OF THE CARS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR I WILL FORWARD THEM TO YOU.
