SOLD! ($2,250.00) Good

Description: High Performance Ford Engine for sale - $2250 or best reasonable offer.

This is a currently running and currently installed 357 or 358 cu. in. Ford Windsor engine. That's a 351W at .030 over. You can come by and see it and hear it before you buy, if you live near St. Louis! It has less than 5,000 miles on it. Complete intake to pan, damper to flywheel. Not included is carburetor, alternator, starter, front pulleys. Runs on pump gas. It would be great for a car which will not need to pass emissions testing such as an engine swap into a classic Mustang, Hot Rod or Kit Car. The following is an accurate and detailed list of what is included in this sale. It would cost you well over $5,000 to build one like it yourself using a reputable builder. Price is for the Long Block. Intake to Oil Pan. Water pump and damper to Flywheel.

Trick Flow heads require custom pistons to clear the valves. This engine has the matching Trick Flow Forged Pistons, which cost over $500 at Summit Racing by themselves!

• Ford 351W block, stock iron crank and stock forged rods, prepped and balanced to 28 oz.
• ARP main studs
• Trick Flow FORGED aluminum pistons .030" over
• Plasma Moly rings
• Clevite bearings
• Comp Cams Magnum 292H hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters
• Double Roller Timing Chain with ARP bolts
• Ford Motorsport steel cam thrust plate
• ARP bolts thrust plate, cam, damper, oil pump
• Summit Racing SUM-B64269 SFI crankshaft balance
• MSD Billet Distributor and Ford Motorsport spark plug wires
• Front Cover/Aluminum water pump with Stainless hardware
• Melling high-volume oil pump/ARP oil pump shaft
• Flywheel with ARP bolts
• Professional Assembly
• Fel Pro gaskets and seals
• Ford Motorsport valve covers
• Fel-Pro reusable valve cover gaskets
• Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads/Stainless valves
• Ford Motorsport stud-mount roller rocker arms (blue) Not the cheaper pedestal mount
• Comp Cams chromoly push-rods with guides
• Edelbrock Performer RPM dual-plane intake manifold with ARP bolts
• Miscellaneous ARP hardware
• Canton 7-qt front sump oil pan with ARP studs and proper pickup

This engine is currently in my Cobra. It runs great! Come hear it run if you are interested, and I can pull it out within a couple of days after you buy it. Actually hearing an engine run and seeing the oil pressure is better than buying an engine sitting in someone's garage with a lot of promises! This one runs great. First run on a chassis dyno shows 300 RWHP with potential for more. Estimated 400 flywheel horsepower.

Please come by if you are interested. I can supply a video DVD of the engine running only if you are seriously interested. I can also email some not-so-good pictures of the engine in my Cobra.

NOT INCLUDED:

• carburetor (I have a Holley 4150 carburetor custom-built by Pro-Systems. I will include the carburetor for $500 additional.)
• Coil
• pulleys
• Alternator
• Air cleaner and matching breather
• Starter

Everything is working fine. Never a problem. Adult driven. Never abused. Make REASONABLE offer!!!

Also have the rest of the drivetrain: T5 World Class 2.95 with steel input collar, Lakewood scattershield, clutch set, Pro-5 shifter and yoke all for $1,000 additional if you need a complete drivetrain for your Cobra.
