I have an excellent T5 transmission with desirable 2.95 first gear, steel input sleeve, along with Pro-5 shifter, which I consider the best available.
Also have Lakewood scattershield for Small Block Ford, clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. All for $1,000 firm price. The transmission even comes with a yoke for the front of your driveshaft. I have driven this for under 10K miles, and have never, ever had any sort of problem or issue. I am 60 years old, and never, ever abuse my machinery. My Cobra has never been down the quarter mile. I have never power shifted. Synchronizers and all other aspects are great. A smooth-shifting transmission!
I live in St. Louis, and could deliver up to 150 miles for free. Above that would be at your expense. If you wanted to meet me somewhere, that would work. Transmission is sold WITHOUT FLUID. It has been drained for transport.
The current clutch fork on the Lakewood is the type that needs to be pushed from the front of the car to the rear, as is common on Superformance. The pivot is on the driver side of center. Other types of clutch forks would require modification to the scatter shield.
I have purchased an entire new drivetrain, and this fine transmission set is ready to bolt to your small block and go!
