Factory Five 427 Roadster finished in 5/2002 with 3700 miles. Color: Ford 69 Calypso Coral Orange w/Black stripes (7-coats of clear), paint looks wet!
Under Hood: Dyno-ed & computer reprogrammed, rebuild 92 EFI 5.0 with Y-303 Alum heads, E-303 cam with roller lifters, 24 lb. Injectors, FRPP Cobra valve covers & Intake & 65 mm TB, Pro-M 75mm mass air sensor, Ceramic coated Kooks custom headers w/Tristate side pipes, March brackets, clear coated engine bay panels and more. Engine has 3700 miles on it after teardown.
Drive train: World class T-5 transmission, FRPP heavy duty clutch, ford 8.8” rear axle/w 3.55 gears.
Cockpit: Upholstered black carpet w/ insulation, low back FFR seats, Autometer Phantom white gauges, Simpson seat belt harness, Backdraft racing steering wheel, gloss black-powder coated single roll bar.
Steering/Suspension: Manual mustang steering rack (for road feel) w/chrome shaft and flaming river rag joint eliminator, front mustang lower control arms/spindles/calipers and FFR upper tubular control arms w/proshock coil-over front suspension, rear rebuilt 8.8” rear 5 lug with drum with mustang upper and lower control arms and springs, poly bushings, Black center - 15” Compomotive Halibrans rims fitted with BF Goodrich Radial T/A's.
Other Stuff: Chrome override bumpers, wind wings, TITLED AS 65 Ford (no emission tests), California Car Cover.
Beautiful reliable car w/blend of vintage design and modern performance. Fuel injected cooperation, just get in and drive away, not finicky like a carbureted cold engine.
