427 Ford Big Block FE ENGINE
I apologize to those who wanted to purchase this engine a few years because I was not able to because of moving around too much, but now it is available since I am back in Upstate NY for a while. The engine is currently located in Williamson, NY.
For sale is a great 427 ci ( also called 7 liter ) Ford Engine complete as described below. This would be great for your Shelby Cobra, old Ford, Galaxy, Fairlane, Mustang, or any cool hot rod cusom project.
BLOCK
Ford 427 Top Oiler Block date code C8AE-6059-B (this is a 1968 Block, may be a boat or service block because it is a side oiler block, but not drilled fot it)
0.030 bore.
Screw In Freeze Plugs
Block Square Decked
4-bolt Crossbolt mains on # 2, 3 and 4. Main caps, main bolts and cross bolts & spacers installed and included.
The numbers on the block include a 66-427 casting on the back like all 427 motors.
Melling High Pressure Oil Pump
Cam is E9630, Valve Springs 46622, PR78 push rods, CB760 P-10 Rod bearings, KB199 Keith Black pistons.
Low rise heads C7JE 8090A –Competition Valve Job and Guides machined for Teflon valve stem seals.
Crank is 3U
Stock Oil pan
New water pump
Aluminum ‘Cobra 427’ finned Valve covers.
Comes with two aluminum intake manifolds, a Edelbrock Performer and the Wieand that is on it. I also have the distributor with a Petronix kit for it.
