Description: Aluminum hood skin only. Fits 427 and 289 cars. Wheeled out by well known restorer and repairer of originals, he also rebodies continuation cars. This needs to be fit to a flashed frame, trimmed and hemmed to it. I can help with parts such as frame and flashing. BSFX sells hinges. So how much do you show off what's under the hood? This thing looks super unpainted to the point it was hard to photograph inside or out. Won't that look good reflecting your motor?

It's actually for a hood skin on an original or aluminum bodied car. You raise a good point however as it could be trimmed to fit the underside of a glass hood and bonded to it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hey Nick, If these would sell for 400, what would the trunk and doors go for?
Thanks, Michael

How does a guy get the correct bend in the support tubes. Do they just bend them to fit the hood, doors, trunk?

Hi Michael, they are indeed fit to the openings. Tubes are rolled on gradual bends and bent on sharp ones like the door front and rear tops. I'm working away on them and will let you know prices shortly. Thanks for the interest, cheers Nick.
