Superformance MKIII 427 S/C, rolling chassis SPO #2966. Gorgeous Indigo Blue with Viper Steel Gray stripes. Excellent condition with only 2171 miles. Remember the MKIII is an authorized Cobra replica, licensed by Carroll Shelby Licensing. This rolling chassis was first delivered in June 2009.Original owner has removed his engine & driveline package so we are selling this chassis SPO2966 as a “roller”. Registered under the coveted California “SB-100”, with sequence # 2009486. This means no smog certification, no California registration hassles for the life of the car. This Cobra is in exceptional condition and will pass the most thorough inspection. All MKIIIs are factory built rolling chassis with all new components and a show quality factory paint job. Chassis and suspension components are purpose built for the series which results in a superb handling sports car.
Rolling chassis features: Included with the resale roller will be an all new installation kit for a 351 Windsor based motor. This kit will have small parts such as oil line, water tubes, hoses, fittings & clamps as well as the shift lever, boot & ring, speedo reverser & polished stainless surge tank. Also included are silver ceramic coated headers & side pipes. All independent suspension including HR springs Bilstein shocks and Wilwood brakes. Dana 44 rear differential. The 15” aluminum wheels are pin drive & equipped with brand new Firestone “Indy 500” radials with 255/60R15 fronts and 295/50R15 rears. Options include paint protective film, polished stainless quick jacks & wheel wells lined with protective foam.
Cockpit: The MKIII interior is fully equipped with correct Smiths gauges, Lucas switches ,German leather seats, wool carpeting, Moto Lita wood rimmed wheel & an optional locking glove box. Additional features include heater/defroster, dual fresh air vents, dropped foot boxes, map pockets, tonneau cover and top with side curtains.

I have inspected this chassis and it is perfect. -- a DANA rear end SPF< - I have the correct brand new ( never installed ) driveshaft available NOW. -- this would be a really easy install.

This rolling chassis, SPO2966, is previously owned. The former owner has removed his engine & transmission. Superformance took this chassis back in trade for a new chassis. Thjis all stems from a paint issue, which is difficult to see. Overall SPO2966 is in excellent condition.
