I laughed out loud on the "It's not a kit car, it is a bunch of pieces that you engineer into a car." If you want to make one of these and do it well, I have come to the conclusion that almost nothing is "stock" and every one is a masterpiece.

I had the same issues. I had cut out and fiberglass the area around package shelf that is supposed to set on the frame once I thought I found a level point. I then shimmed the trunk area with a delrin type material that was off of the frame. The front of the trunk area did touch the frame but the back was off by almost 1/2".

I really wish there was a forum here that CMC/Streetbeast owners could commiserate.....
