Don't ever assume it's the "real deal" based on screw in freeze plugs & cross bolts as they are both easily added. To me it's worth the sum of it's parts (or less). I would also tear it down & double check everything. I like that it is fully sleeved. Hard to sell that to the general public but 8 sleeves is the way to go (in my opinion). Anyway, It would have to be a bargain for me to jump in. When buying an engine there is something to be said for buying from an experienced engine builder with a sterling reputation.
Anyway, Either buy it cheap or pass.
