I was once an authorised rego inspector in ACT, and was busted doing the driveway attendant a favour. Friday arvo I stamped his inspection sheet so he could get to rego office and pay the renewal, on the promise he would fit the replacement tyre as soon as it arrived, he didn't. Questions got asked when he went for a driving test on the monday with a bald tyre.
Lost my stamp for 6 months.
