Dan, those are some good ideas. I would not suggest that it be with the Christmas party - it would get a bit unbreathable and "mistakes" could happen during the heated auction. If the chili is really good, then perhaps a challenge to the local Street Rod Association, Corvette Club, etc,. The firemen are always having this type of event, maybe we could suggest it to the Globe Fire Dept. and have a cook-off during the annual car show that they host.
