WOW, 1st) we need a place to host our own
"cook off". I'd guess that we'd need two four burner stoves or an inside one of four burners and an outside one of two or three burners. 2nd) we need a date. 3rd) we need a small committee, two or three people, to continue the organization and follow thru. 4th) an entry fee is necessary as well as an eating (judging) fee. Assuming each entrant spends $20 to get in and each person (judge) pays $5 to participate. The monies should be split about 80 -20 to the winner and host homeowner. 5th) any spirits will be BYOB. 6th) float a thread here on Clubcobra and FFcars to find out if there is really an interest in doing it. 7th) determine a minumin number of cookers ( entrants) to make it worth while. Hopefully Dan you'll have some suggestions. Also let's hear from others, is this worth doing ?
