I dont know what kit it is, but it looks to have a HQ type steering colomn, this needs to be collapsable, and I am not sure if HQ is?
As Gav has advised, initial purchase cost will make a huge difference to final finish cost, buying cheap at the start does not allways add up to saving $$$$$ at the end.
Does the kit have any paperwork and documentation with it?
