11 1/2 quarts with an Aviad pan. At 8 quarts, the high volume
oil pump would suck the pan dry causing a lot of lifter noise after a long high rpm run down the interstate. I thought I had some type of major oiling issue. Turned out that it just needed more
oil. I remarked the dipstick & all is well.
