I wanted to introduce myself as I have been doing a lot of reading on this site, and finally registered. My name is Arno and am going to be building a Kirkham 427 hopefully soon. I'm actually building this for a friend of mine but I'll have a "share" of the car since I'm doing all the work
I'm in Sleepy Hollow IL.
I wanted to know if there are any Kirkhams owners around Chicago? We are in the planing phase of the project, trying to decide on which options to get, and which ones are not that worth it (Billet stuff under the hood, and such).
I'm pretty excited for this project but this semi-unknown territory for me (kit building). But I am pretty mechanical overall (I have done a Z06 engine swap, a boxster engine swap, and I build and race shifter karts).
Anyways, looking forward to meeting some of you guys at future meets and to build this crazy car.
