It really suck when it happens but it does. It looks like your starter/flywheel are not aligned properly or your parts are wrong or loose. Definitely you have a problem there. Personally I wouldn't try to live with that,you'll always question the reliability. If you don't replace you might cause further damage to the starter or more teeth from flywheel will fly off . Don't waste anytime and get to it. It's part of the game with these cars. Do you have an aluminum flywheel,I read that they're not really recommended,not as solid as steel. People use them to save weight at the track. Good luck and let us know what you find everybody can learn something. I built my own car and that's what I think and would do,so it's just my opinion,cheers. Michel
