A layer of 15 and 17mm plywood to replicate the original 32mm thick transom.
When I thought I'd manage to own a "topless" boat I know I wasn't thinking of it in this fashion!!! OMG
Partial floor removal, the centre section has since also been stripped out, more to better accommodate the internal fuel tank!
And finally rebuilding has started in ernest - a garage and heat source are essential this time of year! burrrrrrrr
Have to mention that the old Rude-Evin 80's vintage outboard in the original shot is also to be replaced by a 2001 135HP Johnson.
This should get my boys out of the water on skis for some summer fun! And my brother and I out casting some lines in between tins!
Once finished though I will be committing my time to the cobra!
