Keeping it simple and less than 10 pages...try a zinfandel from the Lodi area or a Napa cab. Several of the wine companies I represent have operations in Australia, and I represented Fosters when they had wineries here before spinning them off...and the folks I talked to today suggested that might make you feel comfortable while at the same time introducing you to some new stuff. You probably already know our syrah is not your syrah.

Beer...if you like Corona...well hell, get a Corona. A little Sierra Nevada ale can wet your whistle as well.
