In theory, the Hypereutectic pistons are stronger than cast, but not as strong as forged. They also (supposedly) do not change size and shape with temperature changes like forged pistons do.

If all that is true, they they're an excellent choice for a street car that has to operate in a variety of conditions. I'v used them a few times over the years without any issues.
