purple is power to pump

thick black is ground for pump

thin black yellow is ground for gauge join it to black

its not pink its tan colour and this is signal to fuel level gauge

sounds like a vy vz pump assembly so did u get the fuel level gauge to match the sender in the holden pump assembly
