The car is currently unregistered which really concerns me. If the Queensland process is anything like we have here in NSW, that motor has to go for starters and a compliant one installed. Then there is the chassis torsion / beaming tests as well as the side intrusion requirements, revised steering and seating A.D.R's etc., etc.

The price is good and the chap who is contemplating the buy sounds like he has been working on motoring projects previously, but I feel that he would still be better off buying something which is currently registered in Queensland. It would definitely save him a lot of grey hair and sleepless nights.
