You may need heavier springs, Mounts, Flywheel & bell housing, and headers just to start the list. There are a few out there with the 385 series engines. They look like it takes a special shoe horn to squeeze them in, but they fit.

It's a great, inexpensive engine, but it's very big.

I would think that if you added up all the cost to covert the 390 to a 460, for the same money you could stroke the 390 out to about 440 (you can bore it a bit bigger). Pop a good set of heads on it, and you should be quite happy. That's assuming no one gave you the 460 for free.
