Let me know what you want for the boot and ring if you still have it ? I'm thinking that I can just use that and change to an original style shift knob in place of this "thing" that the last guy had on there....lol. Why is it we never agree with others on what looks good....lol. That would at least solve the problem somewhat until I can find a better more permanent solution. Anyhow, I can be reached at
