Leigh, The Neoprene you speak of is probably "Nitrile" synthetic rubber.
Reasonably resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals.
Depends on Nitrile content within the rubber. Higher Nitrile content increases fuel resistance, but product becomes less flexible. muzzza
