I think most everyone's talking about a track event, not drag racing. But... since you're mentioning/comparing drag capabilities of a much modified Cobra to a stock Ferrari lets compare apples to apples. I've several buddies that have heads/cam/intake Z06s that are V-E-R-Y streetable w/no power adders (nitrous or boost) and still running a hydraulic roller cam that are turning 9.80s and 9.90s @ 140+ through the quarter.

Now... if you really want to get wild there's a guy with an 08 Z06 that won the LSX street car shootout last year (as I recall) with a 5.19 @ 223.
