Default Door Sill Plates
Did the originals have them? I bought a shrinker/stretcher tool from Woodward with the hopes of fabricating a set. I tried 5052 and 6061 in .040 thickness with the sides at 1.00 inch wide and .50 inch wide. All four attempts resulted in the stretched section breaking.

Does anyone make them to fit the 289 FIA door shape or should I pursue a different solution for the edge?
