I have an early MKII with 135k miles. Over the years I tried many things. Did the bump steer, alignment with .5 neg camber, 3 link rear, 4in ride height, 21psi front, 23psi rear. The thing that really helped the most was going to a slower steering ratio. I had a 3:1 then tried a 3.7:1==nirvana. No more unintended lane changes on the freeway. I still think about the SAI mod but I'd rather spend the money on trips and gas. It's very livable now.
