Larger front caliper pistons require a smaller MC piston for higher pressure and more front stopping power, and there is typically 1/4" spread between MC cylinder sizes. The correct pedal feel comes from matching the two different pressures, and stopping power are from the right bias. I have a Jaguar rear end with Wilwood Dynalite front calipers. I use a 1" rear MC and a 3/4" MC for the front. I also use a balance bar to get a more bias dialed in. There are lots of threads on this forum, and I got a lot of my information here and talking with Wilwood.
