Just a friendly poke as I was reviewing the Carroll Shelby history for a friend writing an article for a newspaper and seemed to get a little off track when I stumbled across the following:

CSL (Carroll Shelby Licensing) officially shows the CSX6000 series as "CSX6000-series continuation of the CSX4000 series".

So while you do own a car licensed by CSL, you actually own a continuation series of a continuation series cobra replica, produced under license by Superformance Inc, and marketed by CSL for Shelby American as a CSX6000 series "component car" .

All friendly busting of chops aside, you do have a beautiful car on your hands. May you get as much enjoyment out of it that you so desire.

Sincerely,

Bill S.
