Hi, Jason -

Exciting times! Looks like you've got a lot going on with mechanical work while you wait. When you say "slabside/FIA" does that mean you're still deciding which body to have them make, or that you're going to incorporate elements of both cars?

Several people have done "street FIA" cars with the FIA body (and hence tire capacity) but installed a grille and other accoutrements of the slabside.

If you go with the Slabside body, you end up in a pretty tight option space regarding rear suspension, rolling stock, and exhaust. With the Jag rear, the undercar exhaust clears 215mm rear tires by about 1/4 inch. ERA says in their literature that undercar exhaust is impossible with the ERA rear, but it's always worth asking about it further to see if ERA or previous builders have found a way.

I built 3014 (slabside, Jag rear, undercar exhaust, hydraulic roller/aluminum head 331 dressed like a 289, TKO 600) so I'm happy to chat if you want to learn more about my project.

Bill
