Yes sir, that’s what looking into now. I’ll was going try to sand them as smooth as possible then try to buff them out. I like your idea is better. It’s worth the effort.

Amsoil but on the BMW forums most owners with an E36 are using Redline. I bought Lucas
Synthetic 75w-90. The auto parts store near me only a few brands so I went with Lucas. I do a search on the forum. I’m sure this question has been posted more than once
