FWIW, with my ERA I have to jack the front wheels up in the air a good bit in order to get the bleeder nipple on the slave at its highest point or I can't get a good bleed. Doesn't matter if I use a vacuum unit or do it the old push the pedal method, I
have to get that bleeder up as high as possible or I don't get the air out.
