Default Bleeding clutch help

I rebuilt my toploader, replaced the clutch and slave (Girling) and now can bleed the clutch. The way the slave is set up in my CCX is the bleed screw is below the feed line so I think that may be hindering me and trapping air. Is everyone else’s slave positioned this way? I’ve tried pressure and vacuum bleeding and still no pedal. Anyone bleed out their clutch line?? The way this system routes it goes up and down to the slave from the master so lots of places for air to get trapped. I’ll take any suggestions

Thanks,
Pat

Just checked. Girling slave, floor mount pedals, never had any issues bleeding mine
Slave Bleed nipple should be in the upper location

I thought the bleed screw should be in the upper location but when I installed the new slave back that way it threw the clutch fork off. Does anyone have any pictures they can take of the slave cylinder so i can see how its mounted and pushing the fork?

The bleeder hose will have to be on top or it will be impossible to bleed.

FWIW, with my ERA I have to jack the front wheels up in the air a good bit in order to get the bleeder nipple on the slave at its highest point or I can't get a good bleed. Doesn't matter if I use a vacuum unit or do it the old push the pedal method, I have to get that bleeder up as high as possible or I don't get the air out.

I found pictures from my old slave cylinder before I pulled it and yes the bleeder is/was on top! I’ll have to remove it and flip it again.

Is anyone running a permanent bleeder hose attached to the where the bleeder screw goes on the slave to make it easier to bleed from above? Would like to have a bleeder valve running up to the reservoir to make self bleeding easier. Wondering what part fits? Also looking at part for line from master to slave. Currently have a hard line but think a flexible line would work better if i can find one that fits. I’m sure these flared fittings and bleeder screws are odd flare and thread size. Anyone know off hand?

Brake fittings are mostly 37 degree. You will have to measure the diameter.

I believe the Jag Girling parts use a DIN bubble flare? Have to see if I can find that one.
