I posted this in the shop talk area..I'll have to retype because the computer wont copy and paste it:

I figured i would start from scratch and rewire my cobra. I bought an ez wiring kit and proceeded to rip all the wires out of the car.when I got to the point of attaching the steering column ignition turn signal switch i ran into a problem. the diagram that came with the kit shows differant wiring colors. Since I dont know what the donor car was I have no idea which wiring diagram I need to look for. The ignition and turn signal switch seem to be all in the same plug. It is shaped like a 1/4 of a circle top three wires are:

2 green/white striped wires(in same socket)
2white/blue stripe wires (same socket)
2 blue

bottom 6:

black(grey?) with purple dash
blue/dark blue stripe
orange/blue stripe
green/red stripe
white with red dashes
yellow with grey(black?) diamonds

anyone know what these wires are connected to ie ignition/turnsignals?

thx for the help
