Default More Brakes

I've been redoing the brakes for what I hope is the last time, and want to make sure I have everything plumbed in that I need. I did away with the stock proportioning valve and put in the Wilwood adjustable for the rears. I think some of this has been covered here before, but I can't find it now.

First question: What does the blue wire #156 that is supposed to go to the factory proportioning valve do?? Does that just go to a low pressure indicator light or does it also activate the brake lights. I don't really care if I have the indicator light or not, but if that's also what turns on the brake lights, would I need to plumb in a pressure sensor? If that wire doesn't have anything to do with the brake lights, what activates them??

Second question: I decided to put in a line lock for the front brakes while I have everything back apart. Does anyone know how sensitive they are to heat? I've been trying to get as much as possible away from that header. I put the proportioning valve on the drivers side frame rail on the way to the rear. Not very accessible from the engine compartment, but once it's set I shouldn't be messing around with it much anyway. I don't see any place on the way to the front brakes that I can really mount the line lock other than on the firewall. I can move it up beside the brake booster, but I know that header still throws a lot of heat up there. I appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,
Wade
