Default FIA wheel size?

Bob,
What are the widest rims that will reasonably fit under the FIA fenders & that I can still reasonably find tires for in 15". The reason I am asking is that I was speaking with P.S. Engineering a few weeks ago on a visit. He mentioned that when I get to the point when I am ready to put wheels under a car we will try to fit the widest wheels we can under it. From scouring over your site for the last couple of years I know that you mention that 9.5" width in pin drive will fit under the rear. He, the owner(sorry he didn't give me his name???) mentioned 10" or possibly even wider. I wasn't sure if what he meant was 9.5" as you have listed or if in fact that possibly a wider wheel may fit(asthetics are important!)?
